The Paramount presets a wide range of live entertainment from comedy nights, tribute bands, brass band and choir concerts, drama, dance festivals, organ concerts, musicals and the annual panto.
Tickets for most live events can be booked in advance over the phone or by calling in person during performances or between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday.

Penistone Theatre Group Present - Jack and the Beanstalk
For more than 20 years Penistone Theatre Group have been entertaining the community with their annual pantomime. This year sees the popular return of Will Bisby as Dame Veruka Vestibule in the production of Jack and the Beanstalk. These locally produced pantomimes are said by many to rival anything seen on the professional stages of Sheffield, Bradford and Leeds. Tickets sell fast so book early.

Fab Panto!

We have been to the Penistone Panto every year since the youngest was 2, so we'll have been to 7 and never been disappointed :o) It is fun & lively and nothing cringeworthy about the jokes which are clean and suit all the family. Anything slightly risque sails over the kids heads and I'm in stitches! The actors are so cheerful and enthusiastic and there are plenty of well rehearsed sparky kids in too, having fun. I've been to other pantos, with their special 'TV stars' and Eastenders themed jokes and inappropriate humour and hated them. Go for this one! Perfectly priced with local people doing a terrific job!

Just wanted to saya massive thank you to all the organisers, actors and helpers etc concerning the Jack and the Beanstalk panto. Were just back and all enjoyed it from 73 years to 6! Weve been to shoes at the Lyceum in Sheffield and they fade into insignificance along side this afternoons special treat. Brilliant ... all of you..a credit to Penistone!
