Josh EltonJosh Elton

Busker turned comedian Josh is multi-talented and hilarious! Originally from Swansea, Josh blends observations, satire, and music into an immensely funny performance dripping with confidence and self-deprecation in equal measure.

Following his success in Cardiff’s Glee Club, Josh has played numerous festivals including Edinburgh, Neath Comedy Festival, The Settlement at Greenman and Radnor Fringe.

Paul TonkinsonPaul Tonkinson

A sensational live performer, Yorkshire man, marathon runner and former (double award-winning) Time Out Comedian of the Year, Paul Tonkinson has long upheld his esteemed reputation as one of the finest stand-ups the UK has to offer. With a unique and distinctive style, Tonkinson is noted for his effervescent physicality and skilful impressions, which bring alive exuberant, tender comic reflections on love, family and the day-to-day idiosyncrasies of 21st century life. A plethora of first class material, combined with tremendous charm and irrepressible, infectious energy make for a formidable talent.

Tonkinson burst into the nations consciousness as a presenter hosting seminal live tele - The Sunday Show on BBC2,  Ch. 4’s The Big Breakfast, he also fronted radio shows on XFM in London and Manchester. 

His first love however has always been stand-up with numerous TV appearances - BBC One’s Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow and Comedy Central’s The Comedy Store and The World Stands-up. He has played at comedy festivals around the world including the prestigious Montreal Just For Laughs festival, hosting the esteemed Brit-com Gala. As well as his own UK tour Tonkinson has also worked extensively with Michael McIntyre, supporting him on arena tours across the UK and worldwide, most recently, in 2023, on trips to Norway, New Zealand and Australia. 

Paul is a keen runner, he produces a weekly podcast Running Commentary with Rob Deering ( over 2 million downloads ) wrote a long running column for Runners World and his book 26.2 Miles to Happiness won a Daily Telegraph Sports Entertainment Book of the Year award in 2022. He is currently working on the follow up.

Beth BlackBethany Black

Bethany has been a professional stand-up comedian since 2004.

Over the course of her career she has performed alongside some of the biggest names in Comedy, including Allan Carr, Sarah Millican, Tim Minchin and Rhys Darby. In 2015 she was cast as Helen in Russell T Davies multi channel shows CUCUMBER, BANANA and TOFU where she was the first trans actress to play a leading role.

Beth performed her show (EXTRA)ORDINARY at the 2016 Edinburgh Festival.

Scott BennettScott Bennett

After starting comedy in late 2009, Scott is a stand-up comedian and writer whose star is most definitely on the rise. His last two shows Leap Year and Relax were nominated for ‘Best Show’ at the Leicester Comedy Festival and has been named by Chortle as One To Watch for 2018 and 19.

In 2023 he recorded his first Radio 4 special “Stuff” for  BBC Radio 4 and in the same year he supported Mickey Flanagan on tour including a 10,000 seat arena show in Nottingham.

In 2021 he recorded his debut for Live at the Apollo BBC1. You will have heard him as a regular guest on BBC Radio 4’s The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Likely Dads and Elephant in the Room with Sarah Millican. He also appeared on The Summer Festival with Daliso Chaponda, The Comedy Club with Arthur Smith, and Knock Knock with Helen Lederer. In 2018, he also featured on the BBC One show, Live from The Edinburgh Fringe.

He also features on the new Nationwide adverts, released in 2020 and 2021.

During the lockdown of 2020, Scott pioneered the viral hit, Stand up from the Shed, a weekly topical live streamed stand up show from his actual garden shed. The show achieved national coverage in the press, Sky News, BBC News and Five Live.

At the end of 2020, in the Comics Comic awards Scott was voted “Best Act” a prestigious award decided by comedians and promoters in the industry. Previous winners include, Mick Ferry, Zoe Lyons and Ian Stone.

In 2022 he was nominated as Best Club Comedian in the Chortle awards.

In 2017 and 18 Scott supported his comedy hero, Rob Brydon on his National UK tour dates for his latest show I am Standing Up and was selected to do a support slots for Jason Manford and John Bishop. He also worked alongside Michael McIntyre as part of his work in progress shows at the Duchess Theatre in London with Keri Godliman, Russell Kane and Ed Gamble.

In addition to his stand up work Scott is also a talented writer. He was a programme associate on First and Last with Jason Manford for BBC One, a writer for The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central. He’s written stand up for big touring acts including Jason Manford and Rob Brydon and has worked extensively for BBC Radio 4, with writing credits including The News Quiz, and Citizen of Nowhere with Daliso Chaponda. He was also one of the main writers on the prime time BBC One Show, Little Mix – The Search hosted by Chris Ramsey.

As a filmmaker and writer of comedy shorts Scott has had his work officially selected for The Beeston Film Festival 2019 and the New York City Comedy Shorts Festival 2020.

His debut hour stand up show About a Roy was nominated for the highly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015.
