YOUR MC BaRRY DODDS
Barry Dodds is your MC for the night – a naturally funny, quick-witted Geordie whose charm and daft stories have made him a club favourite across the UK.
If you’ve heard him on the Parapod or seen him live, you’ll know exactly why he’s one of the best comperes in the business. He’s warm, sharp, and always in control – until the chaos takes over.
Barry is a Patreon Creator, comedian, gamer, ghost hunter, minister, Erasure super fan, occasional boxer, a presenter of The Parapod and the co-star in 'The ParaPod Movie', along with Parapod co-presenter Ian Boldsworth.
Barry has been serving up his chunky comedy soup since he was 21. He’s been a finalist in comedy competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol & Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search and supported comedians like Jason Manford on his UK tour.
He’s won the odd award along the way too! He recently picked up the Best MC trophy for the third year in a row at the Midlands Comedy Awards 2017. Jasper Carrott even called him “Very Impressive” once.
Testimonials:
“Hugely enjoyable…a ton of great stories…one to watch” The Guardian
“Razor sharp humour” Metro

SUSAN MURRAY
Multi-talented and a seasoned regular on the circuit, Susan Murray is one of the best female stand-ups in the UK and was the first ever woman to MC Decompression shows for the British Army.
As a comedian, writer, presenter and actress, her talent, warmth and razor-sharp wit are winning over new audiences for her growing fan base.
She is in the Top 100 Huffington Post funny women Tweeters and was short listed for the BBC’s year long comedy writing bursary. She also received a writing bursary from the BBC Northern Comedy Dept.
She’s written for and was a guest on "Jeremy Hardy Talks To The Nation" and has also starred in "Stephen K Amos’ Idiots Guide" - both for Radio 4.
